Mt Gambier limestone is a soft and easy stone to carve with hand tools, so bring along an idea, an object or just the curiosity to explore what you can do with the stone. We’ll guide you in safe handling of stoneworking tools, variety of carving techniques and surface finishing.

All tools and masks (or byo) are provided for use, please bring gloves and be prepared to get a little dusty…. choose a block and let’s get started! Beginners are very welcome.
